Judge Owens continued the trial last to allow you to try to settle the case and avoid entering a judgment against you. Judge Owens said hopefully you could ”read between the lines” and would have a greater incentive to settle the debt. Despite him allowing you to try to resolve the debt and avoid a judgment, you have not made any attempt whatsoever to try to settle the debt. However, as Judge Owens wanted us to try to resolve the case without having the Court further involved, I am sending you this email.
With that said, you have wasted a great deal of everyone’s time. While you didn’t provide any information in discovery, you tried every possible trick possible to avoid a debt. While the Court may not find that you lied to the Court, you flat out did lie at least once. My office only sends out demand letters, which we did. My office never calls a debtor. And my office most certainly did not call you. The only way you knew to contact my office is because you received my demand letter. I do not know how any one can be under oath and lie to the Court, but much less a so called member of the Bar.
I personally will make sure that every possible resource and effort is used to collect any judgment.
